A clear role in your delivery.
Guidelines for using Shipment Lookup. Updated October 2, 2026.
The tracking service
Shipment Lookup displays shipment information from connected records. It is a visibility service. The merchant and its delivery partners remain responsible for fulfillment, delivery, product support, cancellations, returns, refunds, and warranty obligations.
Source information and estimates
Shipment statuses, events, carrier references, route information, and delivery estimates are supplied by connected sources or business users. Information can be delayed, incomplete, or corrected later. An estimated date is not a delivery guarantee.
Shipment Lookup does not infer delivery progress solely from elapsed time. A status or event should be understood as recorded information from the source, not a prediction of physical movement beyond what the source has reported.
Customer use
Use tracking references and order details that relate to your own delivery or that you are authorized to view. Do not enumerate references, bypass access controls, circumvent rate limits, scrape customer shipment information, or use the service to collect data about other people.
Public links
Public tracking links are designed to be shared with intended recipients. A person who has a valid link may be able to view the limited shipment information associated with it. You are responsible for deciding where and with whom you share a link.
Business accounts
Business users are responsible for protecting their account credentials, maintaining accurate shipment records, and recording operational changes only when supported by the underlying source. Businesses are also responsible for the customer information they submit and for distributing tracking links appropriately.
Developer and integration use
Keep privileged credentials on trusted server infrastructure. Do not place service-role keys, reusable secrets, or private customer data in public URLs or client-side code. Integrations should respect rate limits, idempotency where applicable, account ownership, and the public data boundary described in the developer documentation.
Availability
The service depends on hosting, database infrastructure, and connected shipment sources. Availability can be interrupted by maintenance, network failures, source outages, or other operational conditions. If a source is temporarily unavailable, retry later or use the tracking method supplied directly by the merchant.
No purchase changes through Shipment Lookup
Shipment Lookup cannot redirect a parcel, change a delivery address, cancel an order, authorize a return, issue a refund, or replace a product. Those decisions belong to the merchant or delivery provider responsible for the transaction and fulfillment.
Changes to the service
Features, supported sources, security controls, and these terms may change as the service evolves. Material updates will be reflected by changing the date shown on this page.
