A little clarity goes a long way.

Find the right reference, understand the latest update, and know what to do when a delivery needs attention.

Finding a shipment

Where do I find my tracking number?

Check the shipping confirmation sent by the business you purchased from. Copy the complete tracking reference or open the tracking link. Your payment, checkout, and order references may be different from the shipment reference.

Can I use an order number instead?

Some connected shipment sources support lookup using an order or carrier reference plus the email used at checkout. Choose Order & email in the lookup form and enter the exact details from the purchase.

Why does my number return no match?

Check for missing characters, spaces, or a reference copied from the wrong message. Shipment Lookup searches its connected records. It is not a universal search across every carrier, and a business may not have created a shipment record yet.

Understanding status

Does a delivery estimate mean my parcel has shipped?

No. An estimate describes expected timing. A shipment status or recorded event describes what the source has actually reported. Passing an estimated date does not automatically mark a parcel shipped, delayed, or delivered.

What is the difference between shipped and in transit?

Shipped generally means the source has recorded the shipment as dispatched. In transit means a later recorded state indicates movement through the delivery journey. Exact carrier wording can vary, so use the event history for context.

What does exception mean?

Exception means the source recorded a condition that may affect normal progress. The timeline may contain more detail. Contact the merchant or delivery provider if the event needs action.

What does Test shipment mean?

The source has identified the record as a test used to validate an integration or operational workflow. It should not be understood as a live customer delivery.

Late or missing updates

Why has my timeline not changed?

The connected source may not have published a new event. Refresh the page to request the latest committed information. Shipment Lookup does not create scans or scheduled events to make a timeline look more active.

My estimated date passed. Is the shipment lost?

Not necessarily. An estimate can pass without a new recorded event. Check the latest timeline, refresh once, and contact the merchant if the delivery is materially late or you need a replacement, refund, or investigation.

Why can tracking information be delayed?

Businesses and carriers can publish updates at different intervals. Handoffs between systems may also create a gap between physical movement and the next recorded event.

Who to contact

Who helps with a missing, late, or damaged delivery?

The merchant remains responsible for the purchase, fulfillment decisions, returns, refunds, and product support. Use the contact information in your order confirmation or account with the business.

Can Shipment Lookup redirect a parcel or change an address?

No. Shipment Lookup displays shipment information. Delivery changes, address corrections, holds, replacements, and refunds must be handled by the merchant or delivery provider.
